# How to Cook:

- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef and chopped onion. Cook, breaking up the meat, until beef is browned and onion is soft, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute. Stir in taco seasoning, black beans, diced tomatoes with green chilies, and corn if using. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes to meld the flavors. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Spread half of the crushed tortilla chips over the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spoon half of the meat mixture onto the chips, and sprinkle with half of the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses. Repeat with remaining chips, meat, and cheese to form layers.
- Bake uncovered for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with sour cream, black olives, green onions, cilantro, and jalapeños as desired. Serve immediately.
